Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specitic breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Those fangs aren't that bad. They are actually kinda cute!

Sadly, lost Teroclaw here :( But still works good :)

Going with the pattern of mechanicals, use the runeforged servitor, the same way as the iron starlette on the first snake. Wind-up supercharge wind-up usually leaves it with a bit of health, use wind-up combo again, or call lightning if you don't mind the extra damage from the backline.

I put Syd the Squid (2,2,1) in the first spot. Other two spots don't matter cause you won't use them. Whirlpool on when you can, heal when needed (Usually about 800hp or so), then just cast Tidal Wave till done :) It will kill the backrow usually before boss dies.

And here is my TD Script:

ability(Whirlpool:513) [!enemy.aura(Whirlpool:512).exists]
ability(Healing Stream:922) [self.hp<850]
ability(Tidal Wave:419)

1/3 didn't work; don't really know why...probably Crits. I stay with the original strat, which always worked for me.

Agreed - this strat should not be listed, not even close to working, sorry.

This script gets stuck on Teroclaw and no longer works.

This should do the trick (but untested, yet!)

if [enemy(#1).active]
ability(312) [enemy.round=1]
ability(312) [enemy.round=6]
ability(504) [enemy.round=2]
ability(574) [!self.aura(820).exists]
ability(504)
endif
if [self(#1).active]
ability(312)
ability(574) [!self.aura(820).exists]
ability(504)
endif
change(#2) [self(#1).dead]
ability(#1) [self(#2).active]
change(#3) [self(#2).dead]
ability(597) [self.aura(823).duration<=1]
ability(598) [self.hp<1000]
ability(525)

Just a heads up for anyone using the script for this one: Because the strategy has you bringing in your second random pet, you'll need to manually run the fight for the second pet. When the second pet dies, the script will take back over.

(Unless of course your second pet is an emerald proto-whelp or a dream whelpling!)

I guess you could fix this small issue by adding this one line to the script :)

ability(#1) [self(#2).active]

This line should be just before change(#3) [self(#2).dead]

I used the new Snowfeather hatchling, crouch , falcsaur swarm, predatory strike, followed with the LIfelike mechanical frostboar his heal works well.

Oops meant to write that comment on the challenge mode one. This is a good fight to use Magical Crawdad as your 3rd. Wish swap keeps Tero alive, esp now that Vilefang seems to be faster. Need Tero for future fights so it's important not to lose him here

I will once again allow myself to advocate the brilliance of Runeforged Servitor.
Wind Up, Call Lightning, Supercharge, Wind Up.. and Vilefang will be dead =)

Agree - Teroclaw solo'd with almost full health left at the end (no crits from Vilefang)

Teroclaw Hatchling can easily solo this fight, surprisingly. Mine took two crit hits from the Deviate pets (one being the croc's big hit, ouch!), but I survived with over half health at the end of the fight.
