High XP
Level-Up
You can use this strategy to carry a lower level pet to give it some experience.
This strategy has been built to be as fast as possible.
The strategy takes a while. Sit back, get yourself a warm drink and relax the scenery.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
You want a strategy that does the job in one shot? This might be the one for you!
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
This table shows the level increase for completing the fight with level 25 pets and one carry pet.
Partial level experience is not included in the calculation.

Used this fight with the Direbeak Team Rumble, since the above strat already uses a Direbeak.

Direbeak same as above. Then I used Grumpling/Kun-Lai Runt with Frost Shock > Deep Freeze > Punish until Deep Freeze has 1 more round on CD > Frost Shock > Deep Freeze. I didn't need the 3rd pet, but brought it along just in case.

I don't think this strategy should be suggested to include a leveling pet. Tia very often crits the direbeak hatchling to its death, causing you to lose the match unless you have a third designed for the fight.

I rarely saw this happen and if it were to happen the time to restart and repeat is less than the previous top strategy.

Yeah, I'm 0/5 on this one; direbeak died every time to Fido. No more wasting bandages. Either I'm exceedingly unlucky or your sample size is 1.

I like to use my level 1 pet first and use a basic ability as Thisleleaf uses Dodge first and does not attack the level 1 pet. I then swap to my Teroclaw to finish the fight "solo". I never use my third pet. But if you have the addon where you know the opponents CDs then swap in the another level 1 for the Dodge turn again. OR I have thought of getting one of my mecha pets with explode and with a small amount of hp left on the last opponent, letting it kill my terroclaw then exploding the mecha and both the level 1s get to split the xp. Just a thought!! have fun!!

This strategy generally works great, except for one minor thing I've noticed over the course of working with two accounts worth of pets. The Iron Starlette, round 3, says to skip if your Star is P/P. Having a P/P, skipping that step and leveling a level 7 pet is no problem. On my spouse's account however, with no P/P, there is. The extra round needed to bring down Rock Lobster gives him an extra attack that so far has always killed the level 7. Bringing in a level 8 this last time solved the problem. I just wanted to let people know that in this case, breed of one pet has an unusual effect on a different pet in the line up.

This strategy can give terrific experience. I brought in a L7 Humanoid. With Critter Week, hat and both treats, he received 17,710 XP and leveled to 22. My math isn't good enough (or I'm too lazy) to figure out what XP would be w/o all of those adders, but it should still be worth doing. Great leveling strat, Rikade! Thanks.

The Falcosaur Swarm on last enemy almost never happens as you die trying, but it doesn't matter. Iron Starlette is more than capable of killing the last one anyway. Personally I bring in the leveling pet only on the last round (the undead bonus round), but depends how low it is of course.

I have it happen quite often, actually. About half the time. I keep a red cricket in my third slot for when it does. Two skitters and the fight's done.

I never had any luck with this one. Perhaps my pets are the wrong breeds.
I use Emperor Crab 2,2,2 then Direbeak and Iron starlette as listed above.
Only had it fail once in past few months.

this strat was working for the past month, but this weekend I guess I have bad RNG or something, but my direbeak hatchling was getting owned well before the 1st pet died. :(
