You can use this strategy to carry a lower level pet to give it some experience.
This strategy has been built to be as fast as possible.
The strategy takes a while. Sit back, get yourself a warm drink and relax the scenery.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
You want a strategy that does the job in one shot? This might be the one for you!
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
This table shows the level increase for completing the fight with level 25 pets and one carry pet.
Partial level experience is not included in the calculation.

This strategy has been marked for Teroclaw Hatchling's Dodge+Nature's Ward moveset presence, which will no longer exist in Battle for Azeroth.

Used this fight for the Snowfeather Team Rumble:

Bone Serpent (1,1,2) Though Nocturnal Strike might be a better option, since the Catacomb Spider does Call Darkness, but I used Lift Off as a dodge for the spider's Burrow. Restless Shadeling (2,1,2) Snowfeather Hatchling (1,2,1)

1: Death and Decay
2: Bone Barrage
3: Lift Off
4: Hit and Dies, Undead Phase, Bone Barrage
5: Death and Decay. Serpent Dies.
6: Arcane Blast. Spider Dies
7: Phase Shift
8: Plagued Blood
9-11: Arcane Blast x 3. Bat Dies.
12: Phase Shift
13: Plague Blood. Might Miss.
14: Plague Blood if missed. Otherwise, Arcane Blast.
15: Arcane Blast through both deaths.
16: Predatory Strike
17; Crouch
18: Falcosaur Swarm. Snake Dies.

Forgot to add (can't seem to edit my OP anymore) - you need to pass for 1 turn after bringing in your level pet so it can soak up Blinding Poison.

Ok... I wrote a TDscript for this. I did alter the strategy, for exemple didn't soak with lvl pet.

Original idea: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=41914/clear-the-catacombs#comments:id=2435679

#1 Sunreaver Micro Sentry 2,2,1 (note!!! changed)
#2 Sentinel's Companion 2,2,2
#3 any lvl

Import Rematch: Ancient Catacomb Eggs:36RB:221414Q:22281GV:ZL:P:::::1:19:N:#3 lvl 1+

TD script:

if [enemy(#1).active]
ability(Fel Immolate:901) [self.round=1]
ability(Call:Lightning:204) [self.round=2]
change(#2)
ability(Ethereal:998)
ability(Soulrush:752)
ability(Dark Talon:1233)
endif

if [enemy(#2).active]
quit [self(#2).dead]
ability(Soulrush:752)
ability(Ethereal:998)
ability(Dark Talon:1233)
endif

if [enemy(#3).active]
quit [self(#3).dead]
change(#3) [enemy.round=1]
change(#1)
ability(Call:Lightning:204)
ability(Haywire:916)
ability(Fel Immolate:901)

if [self(#1).dead]
change(#2)
ability(Ethereal:998)
ability(Soulrush:752)
ability(Dark Talon:1233)
endif
endif

I guess this can be optimized A LOT. Feel free to change. It worked for me. Im a newbie at TD scripts so this is what you get from me for now :)

Please PM if you have suggestions for changes

I found it's actually more consistent if you do x2 Dark Talon and then Soul Rush vs Catacomb Bat.

If Soul Rush procs the stun, Catacomb Bat swaps with Snake the next turn.

I was reading this on Saturday and the Soul Rush proced the stun to me, so I've noted the continuation already. What was successful to me:
7. Swap to Level Pet (it'll be blinded)
8. Swap to SMS
9. Fel Immolate
10. Call Lightning
11. Pass – your SMS dies
Bring in your Sentinel's Companion
12. Dark Talon – enemy Catacomb Snake dies
Catacomb Bat comes back in
13. Soulrush – was enough to me, SC is perfectly safe anyway so just next Dark Talon if necessary

That is a really nice strat Lyseria (and Rikade)! Can't wait for the new layout to contain it as detailed as possible.

I've found a nice little strat for this but it might be breed specific for the 1st pet.

Mechanical Axebeak 1-2-1 H/P. I'm not sure which other breeds will work, I only have the 1.
Stonegrinder 1-2-1
Any level Leveling Pet

Turns 1&2. Alpha Strike (if you receive a crit; reset)
3. Decoy
4&5. Haywire (if you miss, reset)
Catacomb Bat comes in
1. Swap to Stonegrinder
2. Supercharge
3. Clean-Up (this deals such a truly amazing amount of damage, it sometimes kills the Bat)
4. Screeching Gears (if needed)
Catacomb Snake comes in
1. Swap to Leveling Pet
2. Swap back to Stonegrinder
3. Supercharge
4. Screeching Gears
Stonegrinder dies
Bring Axebeak back in
1. Decoy
2&3. Haywire

I'll try and get a couple of the other Mech Axe breeds and test it some more with them.

change(#1) [ self(#2).dead ]
ability(#3) [ self(#2).dead ]
ability(#2) [ self(#2).dead ]
ability(#2)
ability(#1)
ability(#3)
endif
if [ enemy(#2).active ]
change(#2)
ability(#2)
ability(#3)
ability(#1)

quit [ self(#1).hp<1049 & round=2 ]
quit [ enemy(#1).hp>1165 & round=3 ]
quit [ enemy(#1).active & round=6 ]
quit [ self(#2).dead & enemy(#2).active ]
ability(#3) [ round=3 ]
ability(#2) [ round=4 ]

If you use Decoy on turn 4 against the Catacomb Snake you will block the 2nd Blinding Poison, taking away some of the RNG in this fight.

Darkmoon Zeppelin is not a great choice for this, definitely a lot of wasted turns doing nothing. Teroclaw did most of the work here.

Tried all but the 3rd strat a few times, failed miserably. Bat at full hp Iron starlette and Teroclaw dead. Not every try just the first one. Bat was at at least half hp on the other tries.
Level pet didn't stand a chance.
Gave up on a level pet just wanted to survive.
Used a mix of comment recommended strats.
Yeti as Sundog wrote. Empyreal Manafiend 1,1,1 didn't swap just let Yeti die.
Runeforged Servitor as Mystic Mojo wrote.
Worked first try
Thanks for making this site.
Thank you all for your comments.

Worked great! I did have to bring back my Teroclaw to finish off the snake, with no problem. If I had just remembered to put on my hat, my level 1 might have ended up higher than level 10..... /sigh

I keep forgetting to look at the Catacomb Spider's health and check what it is before using that last missile to kill it.
Like tonight - I am just following the steps in the strat without thinking and after clicking on the shot that will kill it I always see that it has somewhere under 100 health left. Tonight it had 18 health left when that final missile killed it.
If I would just pay attention, on that last hit I could use a bombing run and kill the spider plus pick up a nice hit on the Bat.
/sigh

I had a lot of misses with both Alternative 1 & Alternative 2. I did not try #3.
I did find success with:

Tranquil Mechanical Yeti 1-1-2 (Spider)
Call Lightning (If Lightning misses start over)
Ion Canon

Switch to Chrominius 2-1-2 (Bat)
Arcane Explosion
Howl
Surge of Power

Sunreaver Micro-Sentry 1-2-1 (Snake)
Call Lightning
Haywire

That was all I needed to win the fight :)

By the way...THANK YOU so much for this amazing website!!! I have wanted to complete the Celestial Tournament for as long as it has existed. I just figured I would never be able to. However, using this guide to gather & learn the pets & breeds, I will soon have enough of everything to give the Celestial Tournament & Wailing Caverns a good shot! And I will (maybe) finally have the lovely Xu-Fu I have wanted so badly for all these years. You are amazing & I cannot thank you enough :)

This is a great team to use if you don't care about the experience the fight offers. Like today when there's a world quest up for 16 Pet Charms.

I did up a quickie TD Script for this strategy. I didn't have a Call Lightning miss the spider in the 11 times I did it today, but this should also bail out of the fight if it does:

quit [round=2 & enemy.hpp=100]
ability(Call Lightning)
ability(Ion Cannon)
ability(Arcane Explosion) [self.round=1]
ability(Howl)
ability(Surge of Power)
ability(Haywire)
change(#2)
change(#3)
