Kelp Scuttler needs to have 1505 or less health points, so don't use the H/H. There are 6 other pets within the same family with the exact same moveset you can use.

You might have to give this strat a few tries to work.

Worked first time - none of the other strats worked. This need to be a 5 Star.

This was the only strat I could find that worked.

Only Aquatic Assault strategy thar works for me:

Gulp Froglet (Anything, Toxic Skin, Corpse Explosion)
Ghostshell Crab ( Spirit Claws, Bubble, Spirit Spikes)
Snarly ( Rip, Surge, Blood in the Water)

1: Pass
2: Spirit Spikes
3: Bubble
4: Spirit Claws (must hit)
5: Spirit Claws (must hit)
6: Spirit Claws (must hit)
7: Pass
8: Rip
9: Blood in the Water
10: Surge
11: Toxic Skin
12: Corpse Explosion
13: Bubble
14: Spirit Claws (must hit)
15: Spirit Claws (must hit)

Sometimes ends early, depends on Spirit Claws crits.

Worked, but just barely. This comp and strat is definitely RNG dependent. But thank you for the alternative.

Used Leviathan Hatchling in place of Gulp Froglet with Toxic Skin and Whirlpool respectively.

After trying every strategy in here, this was the only one I could ever get to work. H/B, H/S, H/P. Good luck with this fight; in my opinion it's the worst of the whole series.

1xMongoose P/S and 2xMongoose Pups P/S. I tried with every breed combo prior to this and failed miserably. Keep screech up ie. reapply when it has 1 round left to go, otherwise gnaw.

Died 7 times with Alt. 1. Used a Silfang Otter (only had 2 high lvl Moongoose) and got it in first try with your tactics. Thx :o)

Not really sure how this is supposed to work. Can't get him below 400HP with 3 x p/s like this. Tried at least a dozen times with multiple variations to Dive vs. No Dive. Writing this off as another completely RNG-dependent boss that a hundred combos could probably work if the crits and misses happen correctly.,

I essentially followed this--crits and RNG luck made it work.

Golden Civet Kitten S/B
Golden Civet S/B
Sifang Otter S/B

Screech x1, Gnaw x3, repeat. Doesn't matter which one is void gated in--just keep the count.
At the end, Snozz had 150hp so instead of using Screech I did one more Gnaw with crossed fingers.

Tried tons of tactics mentioned here and elsewhere but didnt have proper breeds or missing some pets. This worked pretty fast once I had that team in, well ofc some rng. Gotta hope that Spirit Claws dont miss and hope that Snozz wont kill Fen Crab too fast.

Spiny Terrapin H/H (x/x/x)
Ghostshell Crab H/S (1/2/1)
Fen Crab H/H (1/x/2)

Turn 1 Pass - your Ghostshell Crab is forced in
Turn 2 Spirit Spikes
Turn 3 Bubble
Turn 4 Spirit Claws
Turn 5 Spirit Claws
Turn 6 Spirit Claws
Turn 7 Spirit Claws - your Fen Crab is forced in
Turn 8 Rip
Turn 9 Blood in the water (restart if dead before)
Bring in your Spiny Terrapin
Turn 9 Pass - your Ghostshell Crab is forced in
Turn 10 Spirit Spikes
Turn 11 Bubble
Turns 12+ Spirit Claws

Something really wrong with your tactics... Turn 9 after Blood in the water Spiny Terrapin come in and first move Snozz does is heals himself so Crab is not forces in

I believe that's a breed issue for you. One a side note, I still can't get this strat to work, even though all the switching comes off according to the above list.

This worked great! Thank you. It was nice to have a strategy that didn't need Gulp Froglet.

For those that are confused (like I was) you actually swap to the Spiny Terrapin so that he takes the switching hit instead of your Fen Crab.

Is there any method for us people who are still desparately trying to get a gulp froglet? nearly 200k gold on my server and several kills a day every since timeless and still I have had no luck....

Is there a strat that works with no froglet?

I have tried mongoosex3 not even close and crabs again not even close.

It took me forever to get this done, but I finally made it work. I had a H/B froglet, H/B jelly, and P/P scuttler. I read Vilma's comment and realized my scuttler wasn't dying with his last swap so when my jelly needed to do squeeze to kill snozz, instead the scuttler was forced in. I loaded up a team with two trash pets and the scuttler and forfeited two wild pet battles (not Snozz!) so it was at 80% health. Went back to Snozz with this strat and an 80% scuttler and won instantly. Hopefully that will help someone!
