Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

FF will die after 3rd opponent unless:
Start with Stoneskin.
Pounce all undead and Stoneskin at every undead round.
Devour all 1006HP critters right off the bat.
If critter is >1006HP, Pounce, then Devour.
Was able to solo with FF using this technique. (edited)

Worked nicely. Script for this strategy:

-- enemy types: https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/BattlePetTypeID
use(Stoneskin:436) [!self.aura(435).exists]
use(Stoneskin:436) [enemy.aura(Undead:242).exists]
use(Pounce:535) [enemy.type=4 & enemy.hp<291 & !enemy.aura(242).exists]
use(Devour:538) [enemy.type=5 & enemy.hp<=1006]
use(Pounce:535) [enemy.type=5 & enemy.hp>1006]
use(Pounce:535) (edited)

This is the script I used:

-- Devour low hp critters to regen hp
use(Devour:538) [enemy.type=Critter & !enemy.hp.full]
-- Pounce if Undead dies in 1 hit
use(Pounce:535) [enemy.type=Undead & enemy.hp<291 & !enemy.aura(242).exists]
-- Refresh Stoneskin during undead round
use(Stoneskin:436) [enemy.aura(Undead:242).exists]
-- Refresh Stoneskin if needed
use(436) [self.aura(435).duration<2]
-- Fallback on Pounce
use(Pounce:535)

A couple of tips:
- Use the undead rounds to refresh stoneskin, as there is no point in hitting them.
- Always try and use devour on critters: it will heal you (but not undead).
- Remember devour lasts for two rounds, so plan/calculate accordingly!
- Sometimes you can get "unlucky" crits and your familiar might die. Use pets with beast attacks and devour, such as a cheetah cub, sand kitten, chuck, snarly, dart, etc. as a back up.
- If you want to fight the extra WQ boss, you'll need to reset the dungeon right after this fight (that's when it can show up).

Thanks for the strategy!

I agree, i used the Undead rounds to refresh Stoneskin, or to swap to leveling pets, i brought 2 Lvl 19 Mice to the fight, i started with 1 of them and fought with it until it went under 500HP and swapped it with the Feline, from there just started the rotation, until one of the enemies went into their Undead round and swapped to the other Mouse and did the same, fought till <500HP and finished it off with the Feline.
My Feline never went under 300HP, so it went pretty smoothly, no unlucky crits i guess.

The three times that I've done this fight it's worked once as advertised. Not really sure what happens to throw things off, but that one time was pretty great.

Ever since SL pre-patch dropped, Feline Familiar has been struggling to actually stay the course. It usually dies around the 2nd or 3rd undead pet (I never paid close enough attention to which) just due to being overwhelmed by chip damage. (edited)

Didn't your mother ever tell you not to eat the Undead? seriously, grosss!

save Devour for Critters

Still works in SL (edited)

I experienced the same thing. It still did a lot of work, but it did die using the script which only devoured on critters. A random last pet was able to finish the fight, but the familiar couldn't solo it.

Flocons wrote on 2021-02-14 17:43:11

if the critter is 1006 health don't pounce, use devour right away !

The rhythm of this fight is way too perfect for me to not think this was the intended strat.

I know you can use any pet for the last 2 slots, but I like to fill mine up full Hallow's End themed with Feline Familiar , Cursed Birman 121 , Creepy Crate 121

What an absolute powerhouse Feline Familiar is... I have altered my TDscript to reflect two changes:

1. Refreshing stoneskin on undead rounds
2. Due to FF being quicker than the enemies it only needs to refresh when it drops.

use(stone:436) [ self.aura(stone:435).duration < 1 ]
use(stone:436) [ enemy.aura(undead:242).exists ]
use(pounce:535) [ enemy.hp.full ]
use(devour:538) [ enemy.type = 5 ]
use(pounce:535)

Tried it today with feline Familiar and died after 3rd undead pet...twice. The second battle I finished off with Darkmoon Rabbit and Snow Cub.

Did you have unlucky crits? And did you use devour to finish off the critters?

SwordBreath#1781

I had issues with Stench (-25% hit chance) making me miss 3 times in a row, but that's bad luck. The other pets finished the fight though, but I would recommend putting a random beast or critter pet to increase the odds of having strong damage against what is left.

does actually kill all pets, ~3min30s.

The important bit is to use Devour to kill the critter pets. It gives you the health you need to make it all/most of the way.
