Yea, it has RNG and it might fail. I did this strategy for my husband which doesn't have most of the pets from the others strategies.

This strategy does have a chance to fail. Of the ten times I ran it, I had 3 failures because Ikky either died before it could Flock, and/or did not last long enough for the UBV to resurrect once Haunt ticked down. So, there is some RNG involved.

You don't have to put a change for each pet, putting change(next) at the bottom works for all pets:
