I think my favorite was Eye Of Corruption with Chaos Beam x 2, Curse of Doom, Nightmare for its moves but it ended up being just as fast. Dibbler was a more common pet I decided. There seems to be a threshold where Rocko uses his heal, and I found armageddon into savage talon puts him just in range to get nuked by Iron Starlette while still being out of his heal range. My first try at this strat wound up in a tie: I killed Rocko during my Bone Serpent's undead phase so my team died simultaneously with the trainer's team. And a tie is a loss, as far as the quest is concerned.

I had at least one miss with Death and Decay, caused by the Darkness accuracy reduction. That probably set me back on schedule and resulted in that tie.

Maybe my H/H Star didn't hurt Rocko enough to get ahead of RNG. (edited)

My Broom didn't die at the same time as Boneclaw, but it actually worked out well as it was able to eat the first Swarm from Spindler. Rest of the fight went as written. Well done and thank you.

I think my favorite was Eye Of Corruption with Chaos Beam x 2, Curse of Doom, Nightmare for its moves but it ended up being just as fast. Dibbler was a more common pet I decided.
