There is a chance that your Eternal Strider will die before the swap if it takes multiple crits. The Iron Starlette will still be able to easily complete the fight.

High XP
Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
This strategy has been built to be as fast as possible.
The strategy takes a while. Sit back, get yourself a warm drink and relax the scenery.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
Level 1+
You can use this strategy to carry a level 1 level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
TD Script
The strategy offers a TD script that can be used with the TD Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
This strategy has been flagged as problematic and that makes Shenk sad.
This table shows the level increase for completing the fight with level 25 pets and one carry pet.
Partial level experience is not included in the calculation.

I can notice – well, I have before – that many of submissions over here consist of a Strider + a sweeper. For one, I would like them to be linked at some point, if only for unification of the first part. There are more cases like these, remember the Tanaan Jungle? :)
However, I am sad to tell it would require another big update due to no support to multiple strings and scripts at once, among other things. That being said, I've had an outline for the most efficient scenario (and it's not in my old piece ^^), just haven't been there for a while, and I leave this note with hope I will be able to come back there with better news.

Yeah, we're seeing a lot of these derivative strategies being added.

This is basically a copy of Rendigar's 5.4 strat, which I use,
https://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7023
which in turn was an almost-copy of Phraide's 5.3 strat
https://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4314

just replacing the Tonk with a Starlette. (And BTW, the strat as listed above is incomplete. You would need at least another Wind-Up at the end.)

I mean, basically just do the strat with the Strider and then you could "make" a strategy out of any strong mechanical attack, from anything that will finish off the Brood. Lil' Bling Rain and Inflation, BfB, anything with Ion Cannon, Turrets, even Chrominius Howl/Surge. Come to think of it, almost any level 25 would do at that point. A zillion possible "strategies", all just changing the trivial part.

I'm not sure what the best way to approach these things is. One could just list the strider part of the strat, and then say "finish with anything", but that doesn't satisfy the botting addon that requires exact pet move descriptions.

To those confused about the extra pump on turn 9 -

instead of water jet on turn 8, I did a pump charge followed by 2 water jets, which killed Toothbreaker and allowed me to hit Brood of Mothallus with a pump. I'll test this over the next few days and see if it consistently works or if my strider dies too often.

An update. This has consistently worked for the last few days. So your turns should look like this:

Turn 8 - Pump
Turn 9 - Water Jet.

Turn 10 (if Toothbreaker isn't dead) - Water Jet
Turn 10 (if Toothbreaker died) - Pump

Proceed with turn 10 of the strat, swapping your level pet in.

This strategy is outlined incorrectly. Is it possible for you to edit it and fix the abilities/turns because it just doesn't make sense. You're telling us to use Pump to hit whilst Toothbreaker is underground for example, and further to Pump for no reason when Mothallus comes out before switching to our Leveling pet. I just think it would be great to see an edit and correction of this strategy. It would work out perfectly if you did so. Thanks!

No, Sarah was commenting on the fact that pre-edit the strat said to use Pump while Toothbreaker is underground. Prudentius then changed it so you use Water Jet while Toothbreaker is underground.
The problem is that Pru hasn't counted the turns correctly.
Toothbreaker comes in on turn 6 and immediately casts a 3-round burrow ability coming back up at the end of turn 8, meaning you can't hit it until turn 9 which should be Water Jet followed by turn 10; Pump to BoM's face.
The strat just needs an extra 'Pass' turn between 7; Cleansing Rain, and 8; Water Jet.

You are correct, there is no need to pass any round. Round 8 should not be a pass, it should be a Pump charge followed by a round 9 Water Jet cast to kill Tb then a round 10 Pump cast to BoM.
You are just missing that Pump charge round.

Eekwibble is correct. At the time this strategy was created and refined there was no other strider with the power required to make this as reliable as the Power/Speed Eternal Strider. I explicitly found, captured, leveled and upgraded any other possible candidate at the time in search of potential alternates.

If you look at the hp requirement of >166 and take into account that it is elemental damage, you will find there are plenty of lvl1 pets that can take a hit and survive, including all mechs and magic pets and most critters. There is no feature to import Rematch strings to this site, though, so we have to settle for using what is there.
Personally, I would add 50% (so; hp>259) to cover potential crits, though.

There is a mistake on Turn 8. It should say 'Water Jet, Toothbreaker dies', not 'Pump,[...]', that way Mothalus gets the Pump to the face on Turn 9.

This can not be done with a lvl 1 pet (as PlumPuddin said), plus the last 2 moves are missing from the strat (I'd suggest either a second Wind-Up or a Supercharge and then Wind-Up if he has too much health left. Also why does it say to Pump right before changing your pet out? (on turn 9) the 10% damage boost does not carry over to your Iron Starlette so its just a waste of a move.

Your level 1 pet has to have the 166 health to survive the elemental weather attack. That means you need to account for this when leveling an aquatic.
