7 tries and this NEVER worked. Not even close. Emerald Whelpling Always Dies to Fangor during his 2nd time doing Emerald Dream on turn 8. (Turn 9 per your guide for the turn order is wrong since turn 2-5, for it should be turn 2-4)

I use a P/P Emerald Whelpling and it works EVERY time. Sometimes the Whelpling risks solo'ing all 3.
