My Fel-Afflicted Skyfin was only 244 speed (PP) and this still worked perfectly. Thank you!
I noticed the same because it was still listed in All the Things. Relogging marked it as completed both in ATT and in the Achievement window.

Patch 10.0.5 released today, and with it we get 10 new pets! Nine of these will be from the new Trading Post, and one of them is from a new Primal Storm event in the Primalist Tomorrow.

1 Pet Battle UI Fix for Hunters, Warlocks, & Death Knights

Though I couldn't find anything in the patch notes about it, I did copy over one of each of these classes and tested a pet battle with and without my addons enabled. Even with my pets summoned it appears that everything is back to normal, and your pet's action bars will no longer overlap your pet battle UI!

2 Primal Storm Pet

One Time-Lost mystery has been solved with the release of 10.0.5! When Dragonflight launched we were left with quite a long list of pets that had been datamined, and were still showing up in Blizzard's API, but were not in the journal and did not show a source. Today we can finally take one more name off that list with the Time-Lost Vorquin Foal. It will be available on the vendor Brendormi in The Primalist Future as part of the new Primal Storm event.

Time-Lost Vorquin Foal

It's quite possible this creature is aging backwards. It looks a bit younger every time you see it.

  • Family: Beast
  • Abilities: Hoof, Kick, Headbutt, Chew, Soothe, Stampede
  • Vendor: Brendormi
  • Location: The Primalist Future
  • Cost: 105 x Essence of the Storm & 1,500 Elemental Overflow

3 Trading Post Pets

The newest feature coming February 1st in Dragonflight is the Trading Post, which will offer new and returning items, mounts, and pets for the playerbase to purchase with a new currency called 'Trader's Tender'. Though only one pet was available for purchase on the PTR, the pricing will likely be similar across all the Trading Post pets. It also appears as though we'll be in for the long haul with this collecting venture, as new items only appear once a month. So strap yourselves in, and let's take a look at the new pets we'll be seeing!

His pink antlers make him the life of any party.

  • Family: Beast
  • Abilities: Trample, Deep Freeze, Stampede, Horn Gore, Tough n' Cuddly, Call of Winter
  • Cost: Trader's Tender x ?

Some species of red bees are known to lead solitary lives. Still, this busy bee seems happy to make time for you.

  • Family: Flyer
  • Abilities: Barbed Stinger, Swarm of Bees, Swarm, Confusing Sting, Great Sting, Contagion Strike
  • Cost: Trader's Tender x ?

Image is not yet available.

Siege training begins early for kodo calflings that show a predilection for violence and a lack of inhibitions towards breaking things. Mind your shins.

  • Family: Beast
  • Abilities: Bite, Primal Cry, Cauterize, Feral Strike, Immolation, Stampede
  • Cost: Trader's Tender x ?

Drazka'zet the Wrathful

Fooled aeons ago by the clever loa of death into a bargain of unceasing service, this tiny ancient being carries out his duties eternally red with rage.

  • Family: Undead
  • Abilities: Shadow Slash, Mummy Wrap, Gale Slash, Consume, Death and Decay, Haunt
  • Cost: Trader's Tender x ?

Some hawkstriders are destined to be great. Others are destined to be Egbob.

  • Family: Critter
  • Abilities: Bite, Crouch, Feign Death, Peck, Aged Yolk, Nibble
  • Cost: Trader's Tender x ?

Ancient Gorian blood runs through Garrlok's veins. As far as anyone knows, only his diminutive stature keeps his imperial ambitions in check.

  • Family: Humanoid
  • Abilities: Punch, Stoneskin, Deflection, Face Punch, Takedown, Clobber
  • Cost: Trader's Tender x 750 (based on PTR price)

Lil' Maka'jin

Looks like Ben'jin and Maka'fon have kept busy since you last saw them. Maka'jin is ready for adventure but will settle for a large pile of leafy greens.

  • Family: Beast
  • Abilities: Charge, Headbutt, Lick, Crush, Bash, Rampage
  • Cost: Trader's Tender x ?

He has a heart of gold. Literally. These shiny good-boys are all the rage with affluent gnomes everywhere.

  • Family: Mechanical
  • Abilities: Bite, Powerball, Superbark, Haywire, Reboot, Wind-Up
  • Cost: Trader's Tender x ?

Watcher of the Huntress

Image is not yet available.

To its foes, this Watcher's innocent eyes belie the lethal danger of a prowling Huntress, waiting in the shadows.

  • Family: Flyer
  • Abilities: Savage Talon, Cyclone, Ethereal, Dark Talon, Call Darkness, Nocturnal Strike
  • Cost: Trader's Tender x ?

And that's it for patch 10.0.5! We'll be updating this article when/if any more pet information comes up.

We at Xu-Fu's wish you all the best in your pet collecting endeavors, and happy battling!

Fireworks burst in a variety of colors across Moonglade's sky in celebration of the Burning Legion's defeat thousands of years ago. Having thwarted the same enemy on the Broken Shore and Argus, the holiday has taken on a deeper meaner for you than in years past. As you travel across Azeroth, honoring your elders and gaining their favor and wisdom, a sense of peace suffuses your being. Though you may face many trials and tribulations on the road ahead, this is a time of happiness and unity. Of course, the good fortune bestowed on those who honor the holiday wouldn't be unwelcome, given your propensity to find yourself neck-deep in all forms of trouble.

Happy Lunar Festival to all! Though this isn't the grandest of holidays celebrated on Azeroth, it does offer pet collectors & battlers two, faction-specific pets: the Lunar Lantern for the Alliance, and the Festival Lantern for the Horde.

Each pet costs 50 Coins of Ancestry, and the pets are tradeable, meaning you can hop onto your AH and purchase the opposite faction's pet (and/or your own).

Coins of Ancestry can be collected through a few quests generally found in Moonglade, as well as visiting the Elders listed in your achievement section for the holiday. If you've already done the achievement, you can check out some add-ons like Candy Buckets, HandyNotes, or TomCat's Tours that will mark your map with the Elders' locations.

So, head on out across the world to collect some venerable wisdom, coins, and a couple of handy pets!

Also, for anyone working on getting the 400 toy achievement pet, Brutus, this event has 12 toys! A big thank you to Toenail for pointing this out last year.

We at Xu-Fu's wish you all the best in your pet collecting endeavors and happy battling!

The time has come, once again, to level all your pets!

The weekly reset brings the pet battle bonus week, and The Sign of the Critter offers a 200% increase on pet experience, so it's the perfect time to tackle that queue.

1 Repeatable Tamers

If you'd like to know what repeatable trainers to look out for this week, head over to our Powerleveling Guide to find out which ones are great for maximizing the use of the bonus xp. It will also offer the top leveling strategies for each of the fights, tips & tricks, and links to non-repeatable tamers as well as other useful guides.

Our widget on the home page will let you know which repeatable Legion tamers are up for the day!

Also, keep an eye out for strategies that have the Level tags for regular, non-repeatable fights. Every little bit counts!

2 Thursday the 12th Super Squirt for European Realms!

Super Squirt is one of those magical days during pet battle bonus week where Squirt is up in your WoD garrison menagerie, and it offers a useful, repeatable battle that does very well in leveling your pets, and has a nearby free heal. Here's where you can find all our Squirt Strats.

Though much emphasis is placed on Super Squirt, there are plenty of viable leveling fights from the repeatable tamers listed in the Powerleveling Guide. If you don't have your garrison up to par for Squirt, you'll likely still get a fair few tamers that will do nicely in Squirt's stead.

We wish you the best of luck in leveling your pets, and hope you have a happy battling week!

The past few weeks have brought more pet news than usual, so let's get right into it!

1 Seasonal Pet: Snowy Owl

The 21st of December marks the first day of winter, and that means the Snowy Owl will finally spawn in Winterspring!

This pet is a requirement to complete Kalimdor Safari, so if you're missing this one, head on over and catch that pet.

2 10.0.5 Trading Post up on the PTR!

If you're looking to try your hand at the new feature coming in 10.0.5, you can head over to the PTR!

We'll even see Pet Battles as part of the tasks you can complete each month.

Right now one of the newly teased pets can be found there for purchase: Garrlok

3 Lil' K.T. & Pandaren Monk Leaving the BattleNet Shop on 3 January

Lil’KT and Pandaren Monk will be leaving Battle.net shop indefinitely on January 3rd, 2023.

They are on sale in the shop right now for $3.50 USD each.

They will be added to the Trading Post at some point:
It won’t be long before the Trading Post 6 goes live, but before that happens and some of our regular Blizzard Shop items make a move to the Trading Post, we’ve placed those items on sale for a limited time. Players who want to purchase these items outright can now have the chance before they arrive on the Trading Post vendor in the future.

4 Bakar Companion & Ohuna Companion Now on Live!

As part of the hotfixes released on 19 December, the Bakar Companion & Ohuna Companion were implemented on live!
The first three Centaur Hunts each week now have a chance to award a Bakar or Ohuna battle pet.

They still show no source in the journal, but players have confirmed the pets are dropping from the Hunt Spoils for both max level characters and sub-70 alts.

5 Jingles is Fixed! (?)

Another hotfix for pet battles on 19 December included a (sort of) fix for those who were missing the wreath and candy cane accessories for Jingles:
Jingles should now have a chance to show up with his wreath and candy cane on summon, instead of being locked into an appearance.

While not a complete fix, this does give those who have had a naked Jingles since learning the pet the chance for him to summon with the items.

6 Gray Marmoni & Black Skitterbug

On 16 December there was a hotfix to address the Gray Marmoni & Black Skitterbug items being BoE:
The Gray Marmoni and Black Skitterbug battle pets are now bind-on-pickup.

None of the Renown pets were made cageable, which we can now see was an intentional decision on the part of the WoW team.

That said, as of the publishing of this article the Shyfly (a wild capture pet) remains cageable.

7 Snowclaw Cub & Bugbiter Tortoise

As many who first collected these pets know, they were not visible in the pet journal, but that has been remedied! They now both show up without needing the /summonpet [name] command, or by using Rematch's leveling queue.

In addition to that, there appeared to be some kind of fix for the Honorary Dryad title used to collect the Snowclaw Cub in the API, but this does not appear to have fixed the issue, as players continue to report losing the title in under an hour, or upon logging out.

Phew -- that was a lot! For the pet community, anyway.

There are still some issues that need to be addressed, like summoned pet UIs for Hunters, Warlocks, & DKs overlapping the pet battle UI, but this crop of (relatively) timely fixes is a step forward in the correct direction. It's our sincere hope this trend continues, and we're looking forward to what the WoW team has in store for us in the future!

Martial arts is a type of Japanese martial art. It really is the most widely practiced martial art forms world
wide. It relies on acute physical coordination and mental focus. The phrase Karate actually translates to
empty open hands. In a more deeper understanding, ‘te’ signifies
that your body is our main weapon, instead of swords, guns, or any object this is certainly physically harmful.
This fighting style was employed by the Ryukyu Islands natives, and was later influenced by Chinese
. when Chinese families settled on Okinawa. The karateka comprises of punches, kicks and
deflection techniques. The themes of traditional karate training are both fighting and self-defence,
though the mental and moral aspects target the individuals overall improvement.
Karate was developed in Asia (India, China and Japan) over many thousands of years, having countless
martial arts variations and disciplines practiced today. The current day karate is practiced in
Okinawa, an island positioned in Japan. This is traced back again to the late 17th century, when weapons
were banned by samurai rulers of Japan. The earliest written proof of karate was the phrase tode
(the Okinawan name when it comes to art). It was through the reference of a Chinese visitor who taught a
type of Kung Fu to your island. The tode style blended with all the fighting techinques that features already been
cultivated from the island, referred to as te (hand). Te was popular in three cities: Shuri, Naha and Tamarai.
Each of these cities had their own means of doing martial arts and modern day styles, including
Shotokan and Shito-ryu (mostly affected by the town of Shuri). For years and years, specialists in
Okinawan martial arts perfected a variety of combat styles and forms, because of political situations. The
ruling authorities would ban peasants in using weapons from time to time, leaving them with
items for your home for protection. This also contributes to the development of fighting styles across Asia,
associated with how karate is practiced without weaponry.
A person named Funakoshi Gichin is credited for carrying karate beyond its geographical roots, by
bringing the elements of Okinawan fighting styles and the combat process to mainland Japan, that
progressively reached the rest of the world. He brought karate to Japan in 1922, and is seen and
respected while the father of modern karate. If karate must be described within one sentence, Funakoshi’s
maxim is the the most suitable: “You never attack first in karate.”
Today, karate is practiced by many people worldwide. There are now four main varieties of karate in
Japan: Shotokan, Goju-ryu, Shito-ryu, and Wado-ryu. Karatekas wear a white, loose-fitting outfit
called a gi, consisting of pants and a jacket that is closed with a belt. The belt’s colour indicates the
karateka’s skill level (kyu). This might range from different styles and tea

Is there any way to automatically blacklist pets from another team in that group so it doesn't use it in "random pet" slots from other teams in that group? Hope it is understandable english is not my first language. I'm asking here because idk if there is a general chat forum, if so let me know.

Magpie is broken for me. Am I the only one? Have trouble loading character and if it does load there is an error about old auction data and Blizzard API not working with no auction data being shown, only the error info. Thanks

EDIT: Thanks for all the hard work you guys do. It is very much appreciated.

I spent ages working to get the 1500 pets for Proven Pet Parent which I finally got 12/05/22 only to have it nerfed days later!! VERY disappointed! Since the nerf, the pet collection is no longer updating, at first it was not on Blizz but now it seems it is just xufu,

wrote on 2022-12-27 16:49:41

the site is acting weird for me, takes long time to load, then white page, and can not update anything for my pet collection or my profile. Are they in maintenance mode ? I will make a last attempt and then stop the link with my battle net until i know its safe

wrote on 2022-12-23 20:42:26

Yes the collection and magpie are both broken for me

wrote on 2022-12-13 21:58:53

Did you notice the pet achievements were nerfed ? it's now 1400 and 1600 from 1500 and 1750 ! Nice ! (edited)

wrote on 2022-12-22 15:39:52

They literally must have done that within the past week or so because I was JUST working towards that over the past few weeks and I am only FIVE pets away from the 1500. I'm so mad now. (edited)

Will tdBattlePetScript Rematch and tdBattlePetScript be updated?
They seem to cause issues with the prepatch stuff :(

wrote on 2022-10-26 17:03:25

Pretty sure they will be. Usually it just takes a bit before the authors had the chance to make the necessary changes to it and release a new version

wrote on 2022-10-27 01:32:27

Indeed, a horrible experience without tdBattlePetScript. Had to do pet battles today by clicking the correct ability button each round! On top of that, BattlePetBreedID seems broken too. Guess I'll suspend my pet activities until someone fixes these ;)

wrote on 2022-10-27 08:22:06

Manually clicking ability buttons!? The madness.
TD script is in the works, that much I know for a fact. The others I'm sure will follow soon :)

wrote on 2022-10-27 14:49:19

Oh cool, Thank you for the answer!

Manually clicking buttons is the hardest thing I've had to do in a while >:

wrote on 2022-10-28 07:04:33

UPDATE: Super has just confirmed it is now available on Curseforge.

Hrmph, this Younger Generation who find it too much work to click different buttons... Arrr, when I was young, we had to click ALL our buttons while trudging in the snow all the way around Pandaria , and it was uphill both ways! (Shakes stick and yells at clouds.) (edited)

wrote on 2022-10-28 08:28:13

Ayyy, updating the files manually from GitHub fixed all the issues I had :D

No more button clicking!

Shadow11 wrote on 2022-11-01 19:19:28

Was tdBattlePetScript Rematch updated? Mine still says out of date and curse says it was last updated Dec 14 2018.

wrote on 2022-11-01 20:21:00

Are you getting any actual errors with tdBattlePetScript Rematch, or is it just saying out of date? Because if it's working and you are not getting errors, I wouldn't worry about it.

wrote on 2022-11-08 16:23:45

tdBattlePetScript Rematch works fine for me.

@Shadow11, Blizz's "Outdated" check is a fake check, as it just reads a number in the addon's index file (toc). That is, if my addon is completely incompatible with a new game version because of API changes, I can make it "updated" for Blizz' check by just updating that number, even if the addon crashes your game, freezes your computer and drinks your beer.

Many addons that haven't seen updates for months or even years are still 100% compatible. Maybe they are truly abandoned (and still work or not), or maybe the author just decided to not waste his time with toc updates, if the addon is not affected by the last patch changes.

wrote on 2022-11-09 22:09:58

Note there is a new tdBattlePetScript version. It's called "Pet Battle Scripts" PBS. tdBattlePetScript Rematch is no longer needed.

wrote on 2022-11-12 20:00:08

There should be a news article made to highlight this. Who should I tag? :P

wrote on 2022-11-14 17:42:43

I'll be making one tonight ^^

wrote on 2022-11-17 22:22:47

Yes, it is really reassuring to know that we now have an actively developed continuation of the old addon. I've always dreaded the day when tdBattleScript stops working and no one can fix it.

wrote on 2022-11-11 03:01:16

There is an error in Magpie. Something about the API not updating. TSM link indicates API hasn't updated for 2 months but I haven't had this message that long. Is it just me or does everyone have the same error icon. Thanks

EDIT: Icon is gone and everything is good. Magpie updating and current. Thanks

Hello, great website, is there a way to sort all pets by owned % ?

I'm trying to figure out the rarest pets i have but can't seem to find a way to figure it out without having to manually scroll each of my pets on the website

Thanks !

wrote on 2022-06-10 11:31:50

Hey, yes there is!
If you go here https://www.wow-petguide.com/Profile/Collection you'll see a blue "Export to Excel" button. Download the sheet, open it in Excel (or google sheets or whichever you prefer) and you'll have a much more detailled list of all pets. It has the ownership percentages included in one of the columns towards the right and you can sort/filter to your liking.

Fair warning though, this percentage is only taking collections into account that are present here on Xu-Fu's, that means mostly people who are into pet battles. The numbers across all WoW are likely much lower.

does anyone have a list of pets found within all dungeons throughout all of azeroth?

wrote on 2022-05-26 16:55:37

We don't have a dedicated list for them but if you go through each Dungeon section, the pets you can get are listed in the articles. And if you hover over each of them you can see if you already have it or not :)
