Lil bing and stormwing can basically 2 man this fight. Extra plating --> Make it rain --> Smack that. Try and refresh make it rain once. Stormwing--> Call lightning. If necessary, flock

Sargonnax wrote on 08/10/2017

I did this fight easily with the Pocket Reaver, Ikky, and the Clockwork Gnome

roy wrote on 08/02/2017

My combo here:
Zandalari Anklerender (speed>296) > 2X Black Claw (Zandalari dies).
Lil' Bling > Inflation.
Xu-Fu is dead.

I don't know why, this strategy from Wowhead comments is not here,
But should Credit and add this.

By Synchrone (815 – 3·9) on 2013/12/31 (Patch 5.4.2)
I used it every time, it never fail :
First open with Sunreaver Micro-Sentry and use Call Lightning
Then swap to Clockwork Gnome and use Build Turret
And last swap to Lil' Bling and use Inflation
GG you just win =)

Josh responded on 08/02/2017

I like it. Call Lightning pet just needs to be slower than 296.

ability(Call Lightning:204)
change(Clockwork Gnome:277) [round = 2]
ability(Build Turret:710)
change(Lil' Bling:1320)

Wreathy responded on 08/17/2017

Easy..should be first alternative.

ability(Call Lightning) [enemy.round=1]
ability(Fel Immolate) [enemy.round=2]
change(#2) [enemy.round=3]
ability(Black Claw) [enemy.round=4]
ability(Hunting Party) [self(#2).active]
change(#3) [self(#2).dead]
ability(710) [self.ability(710).usable]
ability(Metal Fist) [self(#3).active]

I use Ikky in place of the Kneebiter. He's faster and has more health, so he gets the black claw on before he dies and everything else works as intended.

Anonymous responded on 06/10/2017

Green ikky killed zu-fu in 2 moves, never used my gnome!

Dragonsoleil wrote on 05/12/2017

Crazy Easy!!!!

Aelfraed wrote on 05/11/2017

so quick and easy. No sunreaver but a green 20 mechanical yeti called some lightening and the rest is history

Eekwibble wrote on 03/10/2017

Swap the Anklerender/Kneebiter for a lvl25 Rare S/B or S/S Cogblade Raptor w/ Exposed Wounds and Batter. You do not need a 3rd pet... ever.
Follow Turns 1 & 2 above but then follow with Haywire. More often than not, the SMS will die before hitting with it then rez, hit, then get hit and die. Sometime Spirit Claws misses, if that happens, you've already won. If he misses twice (happened to me today) just Fel Immolate until your SMS dies.
SMS dead, bring in the Raptor > Exposed Wounds > Batter > Batter - Xu-Fu dies. An S/B Raptor hitting 3 times on the 1st Batter, with or without crits, will kill Xu-Fu on that turn with the last ticks of Lightning and Immolate, as long as Xu-Fu didn't miss at all.
You should also note, however, that if Spirit Claws crits your Sunreaver on Turn 2, you need to forfeit the fight and heal up on one of the others (all the others' opening moves are passive so you can take a pet w/ Bleat or Inspiring Song, etc. and heal your pets). That is the only caveat, and the only thing that will fail this strat.

Anonymous responded on 03/31/2017

Both my Anklerender and Kneebiter were KO by this point in the tournament for me, so the cogblade raptor tip saved my rear. Took out Xu-Fu right after dying and ressurecting. Clockwork gnome didn't even come into play.

Hi :) You should try and add this strategy : http://www.wowhead.com/npc=72009/xu-fu-cub-of-xuen#comments:id=2359075

Blackdog wrote on 02/05/2017

this by far, the best strat. won in the first try.

Michael wrote on 01/26/2017

Found this combination to be working:
Cerulean Moth (B/B) 1-1-1
Ikky (P/S) 1-1-1
Coastal Sandpiper (S/S) 1-2-1

Cerulean Moth
Cocoon Strike
Call Lightning
Swop to Ikky
Black Claw
Ikky's dies
Bring in Coastal Sandpiper

For the last pet: I believe any pet with a speed higher than 296 (the speed of Xu-Fu, Cub of Xuen) with flok will work. Have to go first.

Anonymous responded on 06/14/2017

I did your strat and not one pet took any damage it was miss miss miss thanks
Used a Dusty Sporewing for my moth

Anonymous wrote on 01/21/2017

Didn't work for me.

I LOVE your site! if you had an addon for in game that had all the strats so I didnt have to alt tab out, it would be perfect!

responded on 12/21/2016

I know, that would be absolutely amazing :D
Personally I can't code addons, but who knows, maybe a partnership with someone who's interested to do it in the future? ^^

Just tried it, as the very last battle and it failed big time for patch 7.1 so I wouldnt bother with this idea,. I'll have to restart the whole thing now.

Don't use this anymore responded on 11/05/2016

Confirmed, no longer works

Anonymous responded on 11/07/2016

worked for me as of 11/6/16 - wasn't exact...but didn't come even close to losing

Ravynsur responded on 11/08/2016

As of 11/8/16 this works. Make sure your kneebiter has more than 300 speed otherwise you will probably lose this fight. Only had my kneebiter die out of the 3 pets.

zaymaa responded on 11/25/2016

Just finished using it and it's fine. I've been using this strat since I started this thing and it's always worked.

Raimu responded on 12/03/2016

Works perfectly.

Anonymous responded on 12/09/2016

Didn't even need the Gnome, Xufu missed twice and Kneebiter killed him.

Badjoojoo - SOE responded on 12/30/2016

Worked just fine, even though Xufu critted on my first Sunreaver. My dino also got destroyed but he did get Black Claw off. Once Gnomely came in, it was All She Wrote. :)

Anonymous responded on 05/11/2017

Kneebiter dies every single time before I can use black claw :(

Lostduece wrote on 08/24/2016

It is possible to win the fight even with the wrong breed of Kneebiter, just prep your Sunreaver by letting him get hit and exiting the fight. When u restart he will still be at 3/4 hp cast your lighting/ cast immolate die. The kneebiter can come in freely and cast black claw then die. Clockwork finishes as normal. Ive done it several times in a row now because i don't want to lvl another kneebiter.

Anonymous wrote on 05/12/2016

This strategy worked perfect for. I tried the first strategy first time around, but that was a waste of time. 4th strategy was a charm :)

PositiveRoleModel responded on 05/19/2016

I agree, this strategy worked perfectly. The first strategy I tried 3 times with different foxes and spiders and wasn't able to succeed.

responded on 05/21/2016

Thanks for the feedback! This one is definitely more reliable and now the number one pick :-)

Kyllandra responded on 06/03/2016

This strat doesn't work at all. The kneebiter dies every time (tried this several times with several restarts) and if it does, you cannot win this fight. It's a risk not worth taking since you may have to start the whole thing over again if you don't have enough pets. Breed could play a role in this. Would not recommend.

responded on 07/23/2016

Hey! I got some really mixed feedback about this one. If you still have that Kneebiter, could you check its stats please? I would like to know which breed it has. You can also tell me the hit points, speed and power it has, that works just the same :-)

Rinion responded on 08/02/2016

You seem to need a S breed Kneebiter, or at least faster than 296 otherwise it dies before applying Black Claw

Axor responded on 08/06/2016

Confirmed, P/P and P/B Kneebiters/Anklerenders can not win this fight, they need to be P/S or S/S to be faster than Xu-Fu. Option two however worked perfectly, even with Sunreaver Micro-Sentry and Darkmoon Tonk at half health before starting the fight.

responded on 08/10/2016

Thanks for pointing it out, I made a corresponding note to make the strategy safer to use!
