If you cannot solo it for some reason, put in a Nordrassil Wisp as the 2nd pet and cast two arcane blasts with it after HW dies, like I did. Thanks for the strat :) (edited)

That did not wok as intended - Whirlpool and Evanescence were out of sync. Still the battle is pretty easy for the magic family.

Same exact issue. Whirlpool gets cast faster than you can use evanescence. Using the base strategy described will win the fight fairly easy. Didn't even have to use backup pets and still managed to survive with near full health

Works in Shadowlands prepatch. If you use the script it works as it casts Evanescence when whrilpool is 2 stacks BUT it works as as you said it is cast early. SCRIPT takes this into account.

Perhaps use [self.aura(Whirlpool:512).duration=1] as a modifier, so Evanescence is cast when Whirlpool is on one stack instead.
