Any Level 1+ Pet

I tested in the 9.2 patch and it still works. This strategy uses as a base the fight you need Enchanted Broom, but Lovebird Hatchling is cheaper and a 99% chance of success, it can change a little if you have critics hits on your opponent, but it does not fail!
Its a little longer than other strategies, but my focus its the pets that are easy to get or/and cheap to buy! |

This is an alternative to the existing Bronze Whelpling + Widget the Departed strategy here. If you have those two pets, I'd recommend using that strategy.
Emmigosa is a unique, cageable pet from a Legion quest in Azsuna, and Spectral Ravens are a wild capture in Nazmir. This strategy isn't as quick or efficient as the Whelp 'n' Widget one, but it exists here for those that don't have those pets. This alternative setup usually takes 1 extra round, sometimes 2. |

If a crit throws your dragonkin racial off the sequence, just pass the round you'd have it wasted on killing Deebs.
H/S Bronze Whelpling works, if you cast "Lift-Off" in the last round with Deebs, but the fight will take longer this way. |

A newer one that should feel more dynamic due to no swapping, based on Bronze Widget.
There are three unlucky cases of *your* own crits the first of which applies to the original strategy aswell: 1. A crit on Deebs throws the dragonkin racial out of the sequence. Solution: Pass when Deebs would have died on the racial. 2. The crit from the initial portion of "Early Advantage" makes it unable for the proc to apply, so Tyri survives. Solution: I've seen it only once, and improvised: https://pastebin.com/raw/dgxVt1jH Do you have other ideas? :-) 3. The crit from the second portion of above renders Tyri dead. Solution: See the note at the bottom. |

I have used this strategy well over a hundred times and it only fails occasionally so I am very confident to recommend it as a fully working one.
The basis for this strategy was found on wowhead and suggested by user Perturabo137, see the comments at the following url: Link I have made some minor changes to the wowhead version such as just using 'Diseased Bite' on Puzzle, only swapping to the levelling pet when Puzzle enters the fight and passing as soon as Puzzle's health drops to about 500 as he will use 'Portal' which always goes first. On average each battle takes 1 minute and 25 seconds. |

ADDED TD SCRIPT. Should cover most scenarios of misses as well.
Solid strat for leveling a pet. I usually take my lvl 1s outside the garrison and one Icespine Hatchling encounter gets them to lvl 8, more than ready for this. Then a couple of this and they're 25 (first gets them to 20). It might fail if you miss the Explode on Tyri (you might actually save it killing it with your Iron Starlette), or if you kill Puzzle prematurely with a Wind-Up critical. |

I achieved the best winrate with this strategy, but it still has some RNG in it.
It is possible that your Mechanical Dragonling misses the explosion (since it has 90% hitchance). In that case the fight still could be doable if you can kill Tyri with Widget before it kills your low level pet (Spectral s., then keep Pounce). The fight continues normally when Tyri is dead. |

There is some small amount of RNG which comes from comes from getting too many crits on Deebs while Anomalus survives (Any suggestions welcome). Even if that happens you can continue BUT there is a 10% miss chance on Ghostly Bite which can stuff you up (the 2nd Ghostly Bite just wait until CD finishes). I ran it 100 times and had 1 failure. I've put in a quit in the script in case this happens.
Side note: a Green drowned hatchling can work. I have 3 Anomalus and I run this 3 times without healing (and lines up well with the 4min CD on heal pets). 2 of them are green, but you will not have any crit protection with it PBLK: 10 rounds, 1:14 PBLK: 10 rounds, 1:15 PBLK: 11 rounds, 1:17 |

This strat takes precisely 1:15 per run. So any pet 1-25 just unde r10 minutes Spectral Raven is relatively easy to get vs Widget. Wickerpup like many have said is another decent option, but I was annoyed with the stun from Ghostbite. |

This strat levels 2 pets - one close to 25 (just avoid critters) and one level 1 or higher (any kind). Takes 15 fast turns and works 9 times out of 10 (it's a bit shorter than Novaya's with the Mechanical Dragonling Pandaren but less safe). - Credits: Strat was inspired by Berendine's use of Emmigosa but weakens Tyri & Puzzle in the background with TWO Arcane Storms. This strategy will work without damage to the level 1 pet most of the time. With Call Darkness applying a 10% miss rate, the back line could take a hit from Tyri's Omnislash. ~1:45 G'luck and let me know if any questions! |

If it failed for you, my main guess is that you weren't using an S/S Bronze Whelpling.
My next guess would be that you were doing it wrong, or something went wrong with the damned script.
There are no other guesses, because there are no other ways for the strat to fail.

Werloz, your Bronze Whelpling is H/P breed. H/P breed is too slow, and it won't work.
Get the addon Battle Pet Breed ID and make sure you are looking at the right breed. Breeds are IMPORTANT for many situations.

This strat https://wow-petguide.com/?Strategy=6775 is somewhat similar, using Widget in the same way, if that helps any.
The Weebroom strat, with Weebomination and Enchanted Broom, works well, https://wow-petguide.com/?Strategy=7846
The MPD and Ghostly Skull strat uses two easy to buy pets. https://wow-petguide.com/?Strategy=41

Mechanical Panderan Dragonling (1/2/1) and Bone Serpent (2/1/1)
Start with Dragonling on Deeb.
Spam Breath till Deeb dies
Tyri comes out
Round 1: Thunderbolt
Round 2: Explode
Bring out Bone serpent
Round 1: Nocturnal Strike
Tyri dies here
Puzzle comes out
Round 1: Switch to Leveling pet
Round 2: Switch back to Bone serpent
Round 3: Consume
Round 4: Death and Decay
Round 5: Consume
Round 6: Death and Decay
Round 7: Death and Decay
Round 8: Consume
Round 9: Death and Decay
Roud 10:Consume
Win
Now few notes. One this was done with a slower B/B bone serpent you can do it with any breed and if you have a faster breed this fight probably is quicker. On Puzzle make sure you only consume on rounds that he has dodge on CD or when he hasn't fallen to 20% health as he will Town portal and dodge for one round.
My leveling pet with this strat and slow bone serpent does take one hit of the Omnislash but if your pet, even level 1, is at full health he will survive it. (edited)

You have a H/P Bronze Whelpling, but you do not have an S/S Bronze Whelpling. You do have an S/S Widget, but that's not the point.
A H/P Bronze Whelpling is too slow, and as you have seen, Tyri will go first and knock you out before you get your hit in.
If you got a Bronze Whelpling very recently, like this morning, so that it's not showing here yet, are you sure your new S/S Bronze Whelpling is levelled to 25?

An S/S Bronze Whelpling has a Speed of 325. Does your Bronze Whelpling have a speed of 325?
Tyri has a speed of 276. Since 325>276, the Bronze Whelpling goes first when Tyri comes out, getting in that essential Early Advantage double-hit before getting zapped.
Try it manually, without the script. Look at the shown speeds of your Bronze Whelpling and Tyri at the moment Tyri comes out. The clue must be there.

Tyri comes in.
The Whelpling hits Tyri with Early Advantage.
Tyri kills Whelpling with Darkness.
You are saying that is exactly what is happening with you, up to the point where Tyri Calls Darkness before you get your Early Advantage off?

4 tail sweeps kills deebs. tyri comes in.
early advantage hits tyri, gets doubled because the dragon is lower health than tyri. Tyri casts darkness killing dragon; widget comes in
widget goes first and because darkness, guaranteed hits tyri with spectral trike, killing tyri before he does omnislash. Puzzle comes in.
swap to carry while puzzle dodges
swap back to widget in time to take damage from puzzle attack
prowl and take puzzle attack
spectral strike in the last turn of darkness is another guaranteed hit, boosted by prowl oneshots puzzle.
Now, I'm not in a position to try it myself at the moment, so what are you seeing happen differently than that sequence?

Yes, there was a mistake. The only breed in which the strategy described above works as written is the S/S (1400HP, 260 Power and 325 Speed). With the H/S Breed you can also win the fight, but have to make a few changes (lift-off in the last round with deebs) and the fight will take longer this way.

That also should you give more choice in picking up the support (opponents' speed 207 and 225 under the debuff) if you accept the 10% miss chance, but beware of the EA critting while hitting first time :(
EDIT: Now with an elemental, so no worries about hit chance:

Tail sweep x3
Temporal Anom
Tail sweep (Deebs dies)
Early advantage (Hatchling dies)
Rest remains the same as above. If you don't in this order you won't have the dragon buff to get Tyri down on the 2nd attack.

What I've found is, this strat, alternative 2, is the fastest, closely followed by alt. 1, then alt. 3. So I've put all 3 strats into my pet team addon in that order, labelled them Squirt 1/2/3, and I now have no down-time and no need for bandages.
I put the same lvl1 pet in Squirt 1 and 2, and a different lvl 1 pet in Squirt 3. When I've gone through all 3 teams, Revive is off cd, so, I put another lvl1 pet in Squirt 1 and 2, and keep the same pet as before in Squirt 3. When the 3 teams are finished this time, I rinse/repeat.
I'm currently leveling about 5 pets every 10 minutes.
Just thought I'd share. =)
