Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Low XP
This strategy has been built to be as fast as possible.
The strategy takes a while. Sit back, get yourself a warm drink and relax the scenery.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
You want a strategy that does the job in one shot? This might be the one for you!
TD Script
The strategy offers a TD script that can be used with the TD Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
This table shows the level increase for completing the fight with level 25 pets and one carry pet.
Partial level experience is not included in the calculation.

H/S Forest Moth soloed this and i swapped in a level during one of the Dams (400 exp w/ hat lol). the important thing is to not use the TD script and follow the manual instructions. I tried the script, but with all the random attacks from No-No, I wiped using 2 moths.

This script should follow the priority list.

ability(Cocoon Strike:506) [ self.round=1 ]
standby [ enemy.aura(Underwater:830).exists & enemy.aura(Beaver Dam:326).exists ]
standby [ enemy.aura(Beaver Dam:326).exists ]
ability(Cocoon Strike:506) [ enemy.aura(Underwater:830).exists & !enemy.aura(Beaver Dam:326).exists ]
ability(Moth Dust:508)
ability(Slicing Wind:420)

Unfortunately susceptible to crits. Using 2 Forest Moths both got crit instantly by Tail Slap on the swap, making them lose their speed bonus, breaking the script.

Basically if you get crit restart, unless if your 3rd pet can hold its own.

tried cerulean H/S and Vale flitter H/P a couple times trying to sneak in a moth level pet for the bonus week. No luck. I then tried an Amber moth P/S and it soloed it with little loss of HP. lol

I noticed that too for a couple moths (Skywisp & Vale Flitter) when I put them in. Thankfully they have the same talents just in a different order. However, the Royal Moth doesn't have Cocoon Strike at all so beware! ^_^

I was able to solo with:

Teroclaw Hatchling (2-2-2)
Round 1: Dodge
During Dam: Nature's Ward
During Dive: Dodge
Otherwise: Alpha Strike

This worked like a charm. Just use the dodge only when No-No is underwater. And let him destroy his own dam.

After getting killed a few times, I tried Fjodin's way, worked perfectly multiple times! I started out with Alpha strike (turn 1) and Natures ward during Dam and Dodge only during dive.

Yeah, this doesn't work for me. I tried multiple times and Teroclaw Hatchling was killed before No-No died.

standby [ enemy.aura(Beaver Dam).exists ]
ability(Cocoon Strike) [ enemy.aura(Underwater).exists ]
