Nether Faerie Dragon 2,2,1
Chrominius 1,1,2
Emerald Proto-Whelp

Used these three, and almost solo'd with the Faerie dragon
Started with putting the moonlight up with the faerie dragon then just used Arcane Blast until the first pet died.
Then once the 2nd came out I used moonlight again, then Life Exchange, then Arcane Blast killed it.
Arcane blast until the Faerie dragon died, swap in Chrominius to Howl and then Surge of Power to kill Murrey.

A couple things. First off, I used a PB Nether Faerie Dragon, so I was able make it it thru the first 2 pets each time. BREED MATTERS!
Second, Chrominus's SoP only ever got Murrey down to about half health. Dunno why the written strat implies Chrom can 1-shot him, he can't.
Third, I'm confused as to why Emerald Proto Whelp is placed as the 3rd pet. Not only is no strat given to use with it, but its ability set is not useful at all against Murrey. Need to put in a 3rd dragon that can do a LOT of damage, FAST. Maybe one with Arcane Storm/Mana Surge combo.

Used Sprite instead of NFD, since someone said H/P didn't work for them. Kept using Arcane Blast until dead. Timing landed that Howl was used on the final round of Tough n' Cuddly, and SoP finished Murrey off.

My Nether Faerie survived to get Life Exchange off, but my Chromie didn't come close to killing Murray. I had to finish off with the Proto Whelp who barely survived. I would recommend a Dragonkin with Call Lightning in the 3rd slot as a better backup to finish off Murray

I had no luck with HP or SB NFD but once I changed to PB NFD the strat worked perfectly.

1. This script will quit early if the NFD dies on the first enemy.
2. Swapped the first two lines of the original script so Life Exchange is priority over Moonfire when Clawz swaps in.
3. Uses the 3rd pet if necessary (However, NFD does most of the work if it survives the first enemy).

Nether Faerie Dragon died before I could use Life Exchange, so I went to pet #3, Emerald Proto-Whelp, and took out Clawz. Proceeded to win with Chrominius.

Agreed. Use the Sprite Darter Hatchling as your first pet. I failed 3-4 times before switching and then I got it first try.

Player is advised to reset the fight if Nether Faerie Dragon cannot do the Life Exchange due to RNG. Doing it that way worked out for me.
