Think you have the wrong aura number in the TD script, emerald drake keeps casting emerald presence. Also had issues with swapping after drake died to rabbit.

There's a typo in the script, should be aura 823 not 832

With the modified strat of letting Emerald go til death I've been using Darkmoon Tonk in 3rd slot for a higher 1 hit threshold since Ion Cannon does 1098 against Bleat.

If Bleat is at full health, Howl + Surge of Power isn't enough to take him down. You need to add a Bite in first. Found this out the hard way!

P/B, P/P and P/S are the only Emerald Proto-Whelp's breeds, by the way.

I changed the Strategy a bit so we can use a lvl 1+ pet. Let me know how it works out. I'll change it back if this doesn't work that well. I killed him on my 3rd test so wasn't able to test further. I will tomorrow though.

Thanks

Like the new strat, if you swap chrom for darkmoon tonk the cutoff after swapping to slot 3 is 1098 instead, almost guaranteed to be below threshold even after the inspiring song heal. I've been using for about 2 weeks now without needing to use anything before the Ion Cannon

Why does this suggest a 5+ leveling pet? 1+ works just fine for me if you swap right as Bleat comes in as the guide says. It won't get hit.

OK NVM. I'm changing it back for sometimes he Stampedes first and a level 1 pet gets killed. But you can try a level one pet and hope he does Chew first. If not just start over until he does.

Is it random, or could it maybe depend on how much health your Drake has when Bleat comes in? That's interesting, I've never seen it start with Stampede.

Ya me either, until that day I changed it. But then I normally have a 15+ pet with me and didn't really pay attention to it I guess. Also today it just did it again. So yes it seems to be random.

Leviticusmax wrote on 10/15/2017

This is definitely based on the health of your pet. He will cast chew if he cannot kill you the first round. Subsequently if you do not hit him the first round and he has full health, he will stampede the second round but if he has been hit, he will heal doing less damage with the second round of his bleat.

After his rotation is set it will not change for the duration of the fight.

Chrominius strat doesn't work at all. He dies every single time after Howl.

Best Strategy is Magical Crawdad with 2 level 1 pets to level. Crawdad with Snap, Shell Shield and Wish. This strategy never fails. Idea is the clever use of Shell Shield and Wish. Always keep Shell Shield up. Put a level 1 pet in when when the first enemy pet uses his turn to fly, Then quickly change with Crawdad and use wish next turn. Use Snap as your filler. Repeat for the next level 1 pet.

Takes approximately 40 turns - and less variance because no misses due to Sandstorm. Additional benefit is that this strategy does not do reduced damage on Bleat, who has healing spell.

Use Shell Shield when about to fall off. Use Wish if low on health. Snap otherwise.
First Shell Shield probably can be replaced with Snap - didn't test though.

I'm finding Chrominius goes down after howl - not sure where going wrong, but Bleet's taking him from full to dead before can get surge off.

Hey Radek! You're right. I changed this according to the howl-bomb nerf but apparently it is not working like that. I made a small tweak to the strategy and now it should be safe to use again :-)
Thanks for pointing it out!

The old strategy from the warcraftpets.com guide at http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7023 still works. The main difference is that it uses Tonk with "Shock and Awe", "Missile" and "Ion Cannon" instead of Chrominius (similar to alternative 3 strategy from here).
